Campbell- Jury questions
These questions are read by the defense attorney, but are mainly questions from the jury with a question or two from him.

JUROR: Are you taking any prescription medications? No I am not.
JUROR:Was the gun on the floor at all times while you drove around? Yes it was.
DEFENSE: Was the gun in anything? No, it wasn't in a bag or anything.
JUROR: How far down the street was the patrol car when your first saw it? It was about halfway down the street.
JUROR: How far away was it when you realized it was a police car? When it parked right behind me.
JUROR: Did the police car have a spotlight on? I don't remember.
JUROR: After the party when you called Janielle, did she indicate she had talked to McNeary? She never said she talked to him, but Campbell believed she had.
JUROR: When was the last time you talked to McNeary? Right before the shooting.
JUROR: After Ofc. Fontana was shot can you map out the route taken to Tyree's? Yes, and he did. Back down McAbee to Almaden Expry, crossed the street and to the east side of Lake Almaden.
JUROR: Have you talked to McNeary between the shooting and today? No, but I saw him in jail.
JUROR: Did you know Ofc. Fontana before the shooting? No
JUROR: If you weren't upset at Tyree's, why did you get the gun? For protection
DEFENSE: From who? People at the party.
JUROR: Are you now or have you ever been a 7-trees gang member? No
JUROR: Have you ever shot guns before? How often? Once before.
JUDGE: What kind of gun? Small handgun, not sure which caliber.
JUROR: What is your skill level with a gun? On a scale from 1-10, I am a zero. Not good.
JUROR: If the gun was loaded, did you know if a bullet was in the chamber? I don't know.
JUROR: Did you hear the action on the gun? I wasn't paying attention.
DEFENSE: What do you mean? I wasn't paying attention to the gun, I was looking at the car.
JUROR: Did you focus on McNeary or car coming down the street? I was focusing on the car.
JUROR: Did you hear the slide pull back? I don't remember.
JUROR: What did you think McNeary would do with the gun? I thought he would scare them away.
DEFENSE: Scare who? The people from the party.
JUROR: Was Campbell coached or made aware of the questions? The judge pointed out that he is present during discussions about the questions so he has heard them before.
JUROR: What was your reaction after the shooting? I was shocked.
JUROR: Did you ask why McNeary shot the officer? No.
DEFENSE: Did McNeary say anything? Just to take the gun and run.
JUROR: When was the last time you spoke to McNeary? Before the shooting was our last conversation, after the shooting he just said take the gun and run.

LANE: Why did two people say you had the gun in a case? I don't know why they said that. Campbell only had backpacks while he was at Priscilla's. Campbell saw McNeary in jail in 2005 or 2006. He was talking to someone with the defense team and McNeary walked by. When did you shot a gun? Campbell shot a gun when he was 17-18 in the mountains with a friend. It was a new gun for the friend and Campbell only shot it once. It was a small caliber handgun and was an automatic. Martinez said he shot a gun or BB gun with you at your house? Campbell said he shot a BB gun with Martinez. So he was familiar with pointing and shooting a gun, and even played video games. How could you see the cop in your rear view mirror halfway up the street if your car was parked at an angle? I saw the lights then turned around. He doesn't remember what shoulder he looked over. DEFENSE: Campbell blinks more then the average person.

Sally Graver- defense investigator
DEFENSE: She tried to set up a meeting with Ofc. Barg since 2006. She ended up calling him 25 times, and was never able to meet with him. She did talk to him a few times but never asked question over the phone. LANE: She always destroys notes from her investigations. Even though she had made mistakes in reports she still destroys the notes. She said she wrote out questions to ask Ofc. Barg, but he is the only one she did that with. She thought this was an important task. She didn't know if he would call her back, even after 10, 15, 20 left messages. She couldn't explain why she didn't try different methods, like calling a superior, asking Lane for help contacting him, or sitting somewhere and trying to catch in public. She had testified in 2006 that she had trouble getting a hold of him, and still didn't ask for help or try different methods. She also never asked Sgt. Ramirez for help, and said that Sgt. Ramirez told Ofc. Barg to not talk to the defense. She never prepared any questions for anyone else she interviewed. She never did it with Janee Gilmore even thought she had a prior interview to draw questions from. She now said that Defense attorney Souza gave her the questions to ask, she didn't prepare them she just typed them up.(but she isn't just a note taker?)
